Will this make it to publish???

I can't count the times I have sat down in front of this blog and didn't have a thing to say,  yet my head is full of thoughts,  things we have done,  things that have happened,  etc.....

We are harvesting from our garden.  I have been canning and freezing.
Been tractor pulling this summer.
Enjoying our grand daughter.  She starts K in a few weeks.  Where has time gone?  She will turn 5 next month.  She's very smart and grown up.  Just WOW.

Kids are in the works on buying a home.  Looking forward to getting them moved into their home,  not a rented house.

Crops look great.  Hearing the market will be low this year.  Yeah,  try to get ahead and pray for the best,  it's gone before we get it,  due to Stock market Suits.

Hope I can get back this recording of daily or weekly things that we may need to know or want to know later in weeks,  months or years.

I have come to the conclusion,  life has changed and I have to change with it.  Oh,  Leslie,  I miss you so much.

Christmas 2013 - 1

Christmas come,  Christmas went.
Many nice gifts for all of us.
Kiley made out like on a gold strike.
She made us all laugh with her "just what I always wanted.."

2014 is here,  whether I wanted it to get here or not.
Still going through the motions daily.
Kiley keeps me going,  being here daily,  while
her parents work.
Melanie graduated in Dec.  She now awaits
her test for her license/certificate as an OT.

Life is a whole new journey.
I feel too old to start all over.
God is leading me forward.

Thankful - Day 11 Part 2

I am thankful for my Veteran children.  My pride in your service to this country surpasses just loving you both.  Thank you Melanie and Dave.  God bless our USA.

Thankful - Day 11

I am thankful today to be able to sit here and catch up on my thankful days.  Life gets busy,  and those odd days we get a breath and take time to talk with God,  empty out thoughts,  and connect with our hearts are cherished.  Today,  I was able to connect with my thoughts.  Thank you God for listening and answering.

Thankful - Day 10

I am thankful today,  as it marks the 8th month since our Leslie went to live in Heaven.  The days have been empty without her and knowing one day,  we will join her in Heaven,  gets us thru these empty days without her presence.  God holds her close,  and one day he will hold us too.
Leslie,  til we join you,  know our love is as strong now as when you were here on earth with us.  Dad and I love you so much.  So glad we had those years with you.

Thankful - Day 9

I am thankful today for waking to a beautiful day ahead.  Spending time with Kiley is always a wonderful time.  She is my sunshine.  God blessed me with such a terrific grand child.  May he bless me with another one before my time on earth is done.

Thankful - Day 8

I am thankful for our home.  Warm in winter,  cool in the summer.  God provided us with this home,  almost 34 years ago.  Our whole life together so far has been right here in the same home we started together.  Built before 1829,  it's a testimony to how love can keep us strong.
